The 64-year-old coach and the club have mutually agreed not to further extend their collaboration.
As of today, the ZSC Lions are officially looking for a new assistant coach to complete the staff around head coach Marco Bayer. After not extending his expiring contract with the ZSC Lions, it is not clear yet what Rob Cookson is planning for his future. In the past decade, the Canadian mostly worked alongside Marc Crawford, who, however, left the Lions in December 2024 due to mental health reasons.
