As Lausanne HC announces, they have equipped Tom Vidal with a contract valid until 2028. For the 20-year-old Frenchman (with a Swiss licence), it is his first professional employment in hockey. He has been part of the organization since 2021, when he joined them from Gap.

"The progress Tom has made in recent years is remarkable", team manager John Fust states. "A complete player who excels on both sides of the rink, he possesses speed and physicality that will be very valuable to the first team. We are extremely proud to be able to count on young players developed within our academy."

This past season with Lausanne's U21, Vidal scored 27 goals and assisted on 33 more for a total of 60 points in 52 games.

Ever since joining the Lions, he has also been representing France on several junior national team levels.
