The contract of the 33-year-old Canadian has not been extended by the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers.

Philippe Maillet was signed by the Lakers at the end of November due to their injury situation at the time. The forward was already familiar with the league, as he suited up for HC Ambrì-Piotta in the 2024-25 season.
In 19 games for the Lakers this season, he recorded one goal and nine assists. he also appeared in three postseason games, but did not put his name on the scoresheet.
