According to Klaus Zaugg ("Watson"), there are rumblings that the 33-year-old forward might make his way back to the National League after all.
HC Ambrì-Piotta was trying to keep him in the Leventina last season, but he decided to return to Canada after the season. There are rumors that Philippe Maillet is now headed to the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers.
Maillet has not played a single game this season. Last season, he recorded 15 goals and 23 assists in 43 regular-season games for the Biancoblù.
