Philipp Kurashev will not join SC Bern

As the Berner Zeitung reports, the former SC Bern prospect will, however, not return to the capital city. Another Swiss team might thus win the bidding war.

The NZZ reported earlier this week that SC Bern, HC Davos, Lausanne HC,  EV Zug, ZSC Lions and HC Lugano are all considering to acquire Philipp Kurashev and that the forward is expected to make a decision by the end of this week.

Kurashev has been playing in North America for the past ten years, starting with junior hockey in the QMJHL. Last season, he suited up for the San Jose Sharks, but did not receive a qualifying offer from them this past offseason.
