The 23-year-old forward is at the end of his contract with Tappara Tampere this spring and would thus be free to join the Swiss team.

According to Ilta-Sanomat, Petteri Puhakka has agreed to terms with EHC Kloten. The forward has only ever played in Finland, so it would be the first time for Puhkka to play professional hockey in another European country.
The forward is currently in his fifth season with Tappara. He has recorded eight goals and twelve assists in 32 games for the Liiga team this regular season.
