Emond will, however, only serve as a head coach for one season Emond is already familiar with the team as he was Dubé's assistant last season. He already has experience as a head coach as he used to coach Genève-Servette HC

As of the 2025-26 season, the Dragons will change their head coach again: Roger Rönnberg will take on his first coaching job outside of Sweden. The 52-year-old Swede has been coaching Frölunda HC for the past eleven seasons and will have coached them for a twelfth before he joins the Dragons in 2025.

As for Christian Dubé, the 47-year-old has been part of HC Fribourg-Gottéron's organisation since 2011. He played for them for four seasons, before taking on the role of the team manager (2015) and then the team manager and the head coach (2019-2024).
