One more year - Yannick-Lennart Albrecht extends with the Lakers

A member of the Lakers since 2021, Yannick-Lennart Albrecht will play for a sixth consecutive season in Rapperswil-Jona, hoping to be luckier with the injuries: "The last two years have not been easy for me due to injuries. But now I finally feel fit again," states Albrecht.

“Lenny has been one of Switzerland's best players in the center position for many years. With his strength at the face-off, his physical attributes in the battle for the puck, and his instincts, he will be a huge help to us again in the coming season,” says team manager Claudio Cadonau.

This season, Albrecht appeared in 24 games for the Lakers, scoring one goal and collecting five assists while posting a faceoff win percentage of 53.2%, the second-highest in the team among players who took more than 150 faceoffs.
