Nico Dünner and Johan Lundskog stay with the Lakers

The captain and his coach have decided to extend their contracts with the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers beyond the current season.

Head coach Johan Lundskog has signed a one-year contract extension. His new deal is now valid until the end of the 2027-28 season. The Swede has been with the Lakers since the 2024-25 season and took over as head coach in December 2024.

As for Nico Dünner, he has agreed to stay with the National League team until 2029. The captain of the team has been with the Lakers for seven seasons. The 32-year-old forward recorded nine goals and 17 assists in 46 regular-season games last season.
