Maximilian Streule's contract with HC Fribourg-Gottéron's will expire in spring 2027. As "Blick" reports, his deal contains an option which, when triggered, would automatically extend the deal for another season. According to "Blick", the option will almost certainly be activated. The exact nature of the option is, however, not known.
Streule has been playing for the Dragons since 2023. Last season, he recorded 14 points (three goals) in 50 regular-season games. He contributed five points (three goals) to HCFG's 19-game championship-run in the playoffs.
