International break time is contract extension announcement time, and EV Zug is no stranger to that concept. In their case, it is regarding Livio Stadler, who will remain with them until 2028.
"With Livio, a player who represents the values of the organization in an exemplary manner is staying in the team", team manager Reto Kläy notes. "He also embodies our vision of promoting young talent from our own youth ranks and integrating them into the first team."
Stadler, 26, is a "home-grown" player, having risen through Zug's junior ladder up to the National League. Besides a stint in Sweden during the 2016-17 season, the defenseman has only ever played for the Bulls and is currently at 348 National League appearances with them.
