Lausanne HC has signed Ewan Huet to a two-year deal, valid until 2028. The young goaltender is supposed to take on the role of a backup for Kevin Pasche, LHC's starting goaltender. It is a return for the Swiss-French dual citizen, who played junior hockey for Lausanne until 2023.

“At just 21 years old, Ewan is one of the most promising young goalies in Swiss ice hockey. We’re delighted to bring him back to his youth team so he can continue to develop in an environment that believes in him,” said LHC's team manager, John Fust.

Following last season, after two years in North America, he moved to EHC Kloten, where he made eight appearances and posted a save percentage of 90.8%. In addition, playing on a B-license in the Swiss League for HC Thurgau, he appeared in 15 regular-season games (91.7% save percentage) and five playoff games (86.4% save percentage).
