After HC Thurgau's early knockout from the Swiss League playoffs, a bunch of players will see their season prolonged with HC Fribourg-Gottéron. Daniel Ljunggren, whose B-licence was already with the Dragons earlier this season, is returning once more, as he did a year ago already. Dominik Binias, a proper member of the team until last summer, is also coming back, as well as Lucas Hedlund, who spent the season on loan with Thurgau.

The only Lion reinforcing Fribourg not familiar with the organization is defenseman Alessandro Villa. Besides him, EHC Basel's Alain Bircher will join the Dragons too; his arrival was already announced earlier.

Netminder Elijah Neuenschwander, loaned to Chur for the season, is returning as well.
