Laker Pontus Åberg joins Kloten until the end of the season

As both clubs announced earlier today, Pontus Åberg will leave the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers and join EHC Kloten for the remainder of the season. As the former club notes, it helps with the overcrowding of their import pool, as they had nine available before this move.

"Pontus is an outstanding winger who not only brings a lot of quality to Kloten, but also a great deal of international experience", Åberg's new team manager Ricardo Schödler notes. "Thanks to him, we will increase the depth in our squad and have more variations in our attacking play."

In 33 games so far this season, the Swede recorded three goals and 15 assists.
