Killian Mottet will not return to HC Fribourg-Gottéron

Killian Mottet was loaned to HC Ajoie last season. HC Fribourg-Gottéron's team manager Gerd Zenhäusern is now in talks with the Ajoulots to loan the forward to the team once again. There is no chance the veteran forward will suit up for the Dragons again. 

"He would be taking a spot away from a young player. His departure was a strategic decision that we stand by," Zenhäusern tells the "Freiburger Nachrichten". The team manager also adds that they are not planning to fill their vacant spot in the offense with another import player. They hope that one of their prospect will take the chance and make the roster for the 2026-27 season.
