Apparently, EHC Biel is planning to move forward without its defenseman Rodwin Dionicio. As “"Blick"” journalist Grégory Beaud reports, citing his own sources, there have been talks with several National League clubs regarding a possible transfer of the 22-year-old, who is under contract with Biel through 2027.

It is unclear exactly why the Seeland-based club is apparently planning without the defenseman. However, it is reported that he returned from vacation overweight and out of shape, which did not sit well with the club. The “"Blick"” journalist also speculates that Dionicio’s departure would make room for Niklas Blessing, who is expected to play an important role in the future.

Dionicio has been playing for Biel since his return from North America in early 2025. Last season, he recorded 27 points (six goals) in 51 games.
