HCAP parts ways with Jonathan Ang, extends with Kodie Curran

The working relationship between Jonathan Ang and HC Ambrì-Piotta lasted only a few months. Ang has been often scratched lately in favor of other imports, and now his contract has been mutually terminated. The 26-year-old has already found an agreement with HV71 in Sweden, thus leaving Switzerland after four years.

Ang's departure means HC Ambrì-Piotta can keep Kodie Curran around until the end of the season. Initially signed until the international break in November, the 34-year-old defenseman was able to convince the management to offer him an extension. In eleven games with the Bianoblù, he scored one goal and put up three assists.
