In just a few months since he arrived in Switzerland at the beginning of the season, the American has become a crucial piece of the Bianconeri's lineup by leading HC Lugano in goals, assists, and points. For him, deciding to extend with HCL was an easy decision: "My girlfriend and I haven't been here long, but we've been welcomed very warmly by everyone. The city, the team, the fans... everything is working out great".
Given his contribution to Lugano's successes, it does not come as a surprise that team manager Janick Steinmann is satisfied with the extension of the 31-year-old: “Zach is one of the most complete two-way forwards in the National League. He is capable of stepping up every night, playing in every situation with extremely high-quality execution. His personality is ideal for our group".
On a side note, for their game tomorrow against EHC Kloten, HC Lugano can count on Alessio Bertaggia again, "RSI" reports. The Swiss forward has been missing from the lineup since mid-October.
