Team manager Gerd Zenhäusern is nearing a deal to bring in a seventh import player, ideally in time for next week’s CHL game or their upcoming matchup against Bern.
The addition of a seventh import player to the roster is part of a strategic move to improve HC Fribourg-Gottéron’s power play, explains HCFG's team manager Gerd Zenhäusern to "La Liberté". “We want a forward who can help us on the power play because we see that games are more and more decided on special situations,” Zenhäusern reveals. Reportedly, the club is now expecting an answer from their preferred candidate.
