National League

Earlier today, Davos seemed to be the frontrunner in the courting of the forward. However, it appears this has already changed again.

This morning, the "Neue Zürcher Zeitung" reported that negotiations were supposedly going well between HC Davos and Vinzenz Rohrer. The Austrian, who is under contract with the Montréal Canadiens until 2028, had been gathering interest from other teams as well, such as EV Zug.

However, the same source, as well as Klaus Zaugg ("Watson"), now state that Zug apparently won the race, signing Rohrer to a three-year deal. He would thus be loaned to the National League team the coming season.

The ZSC Lions would have liked to keep him for another season, but now it seems that the 21-year-old forward and his NHL team, which will ultimately decide where he will play, have made a different choice.

Rohrer appeared in 41 regular-season games for the ZSC Lions last season, recording four goals and eight assists.
