Results below expectations in the last one-and-a-half years have led to the Grenats' decision to let their head coach go. He is replaced - ad interim - by his assistants.

Three years and one month after taking over for Patrick Emond as head coach of Genève-Servette HC, Jan Cadieux has been relieved of his duties. In his stead, current assistant coaches Rikard Franzén and Yorick Treille are taking over ad interim. The club cites the results, which have not met their expectations ever since winning the Swiss championship title in 2023, as reason for the move.

The new coaches in charge have been with the organization for a while. Treille joined in 2022, Franzén in 2021, shortly after Cadieux took over the reins.

With the now-fired coach, Genève-Servette won the National League title in 2023, as previously mentioned. It was their first time accomplishing this. Earlier this year, they won the 2023-24 edition of the Champions Hockey League.
