Genève-Servette HC interested in veteran forward Derick Brassard

“Yes, I'm interested in him,” confirms Marc Gautschi to "Blick". "There is a possibility that he wants to play again, and we are definitely in the running. During the summer, he skated a lot in Canada to stay in shape, and for the past two months, he has been doing a kind of training camp to get back up to speed. So I'm not worried about his physical condition," continues the team manager of Genève-Servette HC.

Over the course of his NHL career, spanning from 2007 to 2023 and featuring ten different teams, Brassard suited up in more than 1000 games. Already in 2023, Gautschi talked to the Canadian about coming to Geneva. 

With the departure of Taylor Beck to Russia, Geneva has six imports under contract, two defenders and four forwards.
