Fabio Schumacher joins Ambrì-Piotta's coaching staff

HC Ambrì-Piotta has completed their coaching staff. Besides head Jussi Tapola and assistant Pasi Puistola, they have hired Fabio Schumacher as a fellow assistant. He joins them on a two-year deal.

Schumacher started his coaching career with Herisau's juniors in 2010, had a season as assistant with their men's team, but returned to youth coaching as part of EV Zug. There, he eventually took over the EVZ Academy in the Swiss League and turned to the Swiss junior national teams. Despite landing the job with the Biancoblù, he will keep his position as head coach of the U18, albeit on a mandate basis.
