Expiring contract - EV Zug's Elia Riva open to anything

Whether Elia Riva will be a member of EV Zug in the 2025-26 season is not clear yet. His contract with the Bulls is set to expire this Spring and neither Riva nor team manager Reto Kläy have made any decision yet. As the "Luzerner Zeitung" reports, Kläy only states that the situation is open and that “Elia has had a good preparation. There is a noticeable upward trend.”

The 26-year-old defender joined EV Zug last season from HC Lugano. In six games so far, he scored two goals, already equaling the total points collected in his first season with the Bulls.
