Ewan Huet leaves EHC Kloten and joins another National League club

For weeks, there have been talks of Ewan Huet leaving EHC Kloten for Lausanne HC. Only two days ago, "Blick" reported that if all went according to plan, Ewan Huet would move to Lausanne HC, which in turn would free up one of their goaltenders for a trade involving Bern. Lausanne HC has not communicated anything so far, but based on these reports, it should not come as a surprise if Huet were indeed to join the Lions.

Team manager Ricardo Schödler on Huet's departure: “We regret that Ewan will be leaving EHC Kloten. At the same time, we understand his desire to take on a new challenge in his career.”
 
Despite Ewan Huet’s departure, EHC Kloten remains committed to its current approach to the goalie positions by having three goalies under contract. EHC Kloten will announce who will fill the vacant position in due course.
