The contract of the 38-year-old defenseman will expire at the end of the current season. He would be willing to continue his hockey career.
"I am healthy and I love to play in Kloten. We are currently discussing things and we will see what the result will be," Steve Kellenberger tells "Blick". Ricardo Schödler, team manager of EHC Kloten, also confirms that the two parties are talking.
Kellenberger played almost his entire career for EHC Kloten and has captained the team since the 2018-19 season. This season, he has recorded three assists in 37 games.
