After missing almost the entire last season, the captain of EHC Biel returned with a strong start to the season. Gaëtan Haas' contract extension is Martin Steinegger's priority.

"He is our number one priority. We are on the right track," Steinegger tells the Journal du Jura. Haas has appeared in 21 regular-season games for EHC Biel this season, recording four goals and 13 assists.
Hass' contract is not the only one Steinegger will be working on during the international break. According to the same source, he is hopeful that they will be able to announce one or two contract extensions in the near future.
