EHC Biel signs NHL veteran forward Jeff Skinner

Jeff Skinner has played 16 NHL seasons and appeared in 1,110 games (712 points) for the Carolina Hurricanes, the Buffalo Sabres, the Edmonton Oilers, and the San Jose Sharks. He was placed on unconditional waivers in February 2026 and his contract was terminated afterwards. 

"With Jeff, we're gaining a player with tremendous experience and proven offensive skills," EHC Biel's team manager Martin Steinegger said. "He has played at the highest level for many years and has proven that he can score goals and take on offensive responsibility."

Last season, the 34-year-old played 32 games for the Sharks, srecording six goals and seven assists.
