Third season in Switzerland and third club: after Lausanne HC and then HC Ajoie, now Daniel Audette joins EHC Kloten. The Canadian is the fourth import under contract with EHCK for the upcoming season, the other three being fellow forwards Tyler Morley, Miro Aaltonen, and Niko Ojamäki.
From Audette, team manager Ricardo Schödler expects especially points: "Daniel Audette is an extremely productive offensive player who had an outstanding season in terms of points last season with HC Ajoie. We hope he can provide the goals and assists we were missing last season."
With HC Ajoie, Audette scored 13 goals and collected 25 assists in 51 games, receiving only eight penalty minutes in the whole season. During the 2022-23 season, the 28-year-old recorded 21 points in 42 games with Lausanne HC.
