As several Swedish news outlets anticipated last week, the 26-year-old defenseman returns to Sweden.
EHC Biel
Oskari Laaksonen had a valid contract with EHC Biel, which would have expired in 2027. The two parties agreed to dissolve their current agreement. The Finn has already signed a new contract with his former team, Luleå Hockey, and is now headed back to Sweden.
Laaksonen appeared in 16 games for the Seelanders this season, recording four assists.
