Confirmed - Long-term extension with HC Davos for Sven Jung

The love story between HC Davos and Sven Jung is a neverending one. The 29-year-old joined the organization of Davos during the 2013-14 season and ever since he has only suited up for them except two games on loan to SC Bern in 2015. By the end of the deal, Jung will have played for 17 seasons with HC Davos.

Team manager Jan Alston on the early contract extension with Sven Jung: “Sven not only brings experience and stability to our defense but also passion, and identification with the club, which are invaluable to our team.” 

Last season, Jung collected 13 points in 59 games with HC Davos. Additionally, with his performance he earned himself the honor to wear the Swiss jersey for the first time at an international tournament, the World Championship in Czechia, winning the silver medal.
