The 22-year-old defenseman has signed a two-year contract extension and will be with the team until the end of the 2026-27 season.

"Bastian is a tall and strong defender who brings a certain toughness to the game with his physical style of play," Pascal Müller, team manager of the SCL Tigers said about the defenseman.
Bastian Guggenheim has been playing for Langnau since the U15 level and played his first game for them in the 2020-21 season. This season, he has appeared in nine games, recording one assist.
