Back to Switzerland - Jakob Lilja signs with EV Zug

With the acquisition of Jakob Lilja, EV Zug has activated a ninth import license as a reinforcement for the crucial part of the season: "Jakob is versatile and will give our offense additional momentum,” states team manager Reto Kläy. 

EV Zug is the third stop in Switzerland for Lilja. He was a member of HC Ambrì-Piotta from 2023 to October 2024, and then he joined HC Fribourg-Gottéron until the end of the 2024-25 season. With the Frankfurt Löwen in the DEL, the 32-year-old scored six goals and collected ten assists in 32 games.
