Similar to last year, Jakob Stukel is reinforcing HC Ajoie after his season with EHC Basel ended. The Canadian-Slovenian, who has been with Basel since 2022, put up 36 goals and 32 assists in the Swiss League this winter, which was the most among his teammates.
Ajoie is set to face HC Ambrì-Piotta in the playout final starting March 21. If things do not pan out as they may hope, there could be a league qualification series against the Swiss League champion afterward.
