Arttu Ruotsalainen leaves Lugano, Radim Zohorna joins

HC Lugano and Arttu Ruotsalainen will go their separate ways. Club and player have agreed to mutually terminate the forward's contract, which would have still had one year left. The Finn was with them for just the last season.

As the law of the ever-revolving import door dictates, when one leaves, another one must join - in this case, it is Radim Zohorna. The 28-year-old Czech forward has signed a deal valid for the coming season.

Having spent his early junior time with Havlickuv Brod, Zohorna developed into a top-league player with Kometa Brno. In 2020, he went overseas and spent the last four years splitting time between the NHL and the AHL (for Pittsburgh, Calgary, Toronto, and Pittsburgh again).
