The 41-year-old forward now holds the record for most National League games played in the regular season.
Prior to tonight, Beat Gerber was the record holder for that category. The former defenseman still holds the record for games played overall (1270), but he is only six games ahead of Andres Ambühl (1264).
Except for one season in North America and three seasons with the ZSC Lions, Andres Ambühl has played all his games with HC Davos. This season, he has appeared in two games and recorded two assists.
