"The excitement for the SWISS Ice Hockey Games is huge", head coach Fischer states. "It is always something special to play in front of your own fans, and that gives us extra motivation. Not only do we want to continue to develop on a sporting level and build on our performances at the Karjala Cup, but we also want to give something back to the fans for their support - commitment, passion, and team spirit."
Switzerland will face Sweden on December 12 (7:45 pm), Czechia on December 14 (6 pm), and Finland on December 15 (3:30 pm) in Fribourg.
During this tournament, Fischer will be supported by EV Zug's assistant Michael Liniger and Fabio Schumacher, head coach of the U18 men's national team.
