A tournament heavy on the "Swiss" side: the SWISS Ice Hockey Games, the Swiss part of the Euro Hockey Tour, will be held at the Swiss Life Arena in Zurich. When the top European leagues go into their international break in December, national teams from Sweden, Czechia, Finland, and Switzerland will suit up to face each other.

Host Switzerland plays versus arch-nemesis Sweden on December 11 (19:45 CET), goes up against Czechia on December 13 (18:00 CET), and finishes the tournament on December 14, when they face Finland (15:45 CET).

"In just over nine months, Swiss ice hockey will enjoy an absolute highlight with the World Championship on home ice", Lars Weibel, Director Sport at SIHF, notes. "Since we will be hosting all World Championship games at the Swiss Life Arena, this tournament is the ideal final rehearsal. We can test and optimize all organizational processes and will do everything we can to spark euphoria with strong performances in front of our home crowd."
