Blick posted a big interview with former national team head coach Patrick Fischer this morning, in which Fischer mentioned that the internal investigation was closed and that he did not know its end results.
Later today, SIHF sent out a press release, stating that it "completed the administrative investigation." However, they added that they would not "publish [the report] —neither in full nor in part, nor even in excerpts." The findings of the report are based on voluntary interviews with the people involved and/or contacted in the incident.
SIHF now wants to draw concrete lessons to "make the organization more resilient, regain trust, avoid similar situations in the future, and implement the necessary improvements."
Patrick Fischer was relieved of his duties shortly before the World Championship this year, when it was revealed that he faked his COVID certificate required for the 2022 Olympic Games, and he was subsequently convicted of document forgery.
