Over the summer, there apparently has been a round of talks in the case of Lian Bichsel. These did not bear any fruit though as it seems. "We have decided that the suspension will remain in place until and including the 2026 World Championship", Swiss men's national team head coach Patrick Fischer is cited by "Watson"'s Klaus Zaugg.
Bichsel was initially banned from the men's national team for declining call-ups by the U20 national team in recent years.
