The schedule for the 2026 IIHF Worlds in Switzerland is set

The IIHF has announced the full schedule of the tournament that will be held in Zürich and Fribourg from May 15 to May 31. The first two games will be Finland against Germany (in Zürich) and Sweden against Canada (in Fribourg) at 4:20 p.m. In the evening, at 8:20 p.m., Switzerland will take on the USA in Zürich, while Denmark and Czechia will battle it out in Fribourg.

The Swiss national team will continue with games against Latvia (May 16), Germany (May 18), Austria (May 20), Great Britain (May 21), Hungary (May 23), and Finland (May 26).

Game Day Packages will be available from 12:00 pm on Monday, 8 September 2025, on the website of the IIHF, while individual game tickets will go on sale in February 2026.
