Men's Worlds

The 2026 IIHF World Championship in Switzerland will open its doors tomorrow. Several teams will also feature players the Swiss fans are already familiar with.

Dominik Kahun (Lausanne HC) will suit up for Germany. Harri Säteri (EHC Biel), Mikko Lehtonen (ZSC Lions), Jesse Puljujärvi (Genève-Servette HC), Waltteri Merelà (SC Bern), Hannes Björninen (SCL Tigers), and Sakari Manninen (Genève-Servette HC) all figure on the Finnish roster. 

Jacob Larsson (SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers), Erik Brännström (Lausanne HC), Tim Heed (HC Ambrì-Piotta), André Petersson (SCL Tigers), Rasmus Asplund (HC Davos), and Jacob de la Rose (HC Fribourg-Gottéron) will represent Sweden at the tournament.

Daniel Voženílek and Dominik Kubalík (both EV Zug) will play for Czechia. Bernd Wolf (EHC Kloten) and Dominic Zwerger (HC Ambrì-Piotta) have been selected to play for Austria. Tamás Ortenszky (EHC Winterthur) is part of the Hungarian team.

Davide Fadani (EHC Kloten), Tommaso De Luca (HC Ambrì-Piotta), Niccolò Mansueto (HC Sierre), Alessandro Segafredo (ZSC Lions), and Marco Zanetti (HC Lugano) are on Italy's roster.  Oskars Lapinskis (SCL Tigers), Rudolfs Balcers (ZSC Lions), Deniss Smirnovs (EHC Kloten), and Toms Anderson (HC La Chaux-de-Fonds) will represent Latvia.
