For the third week of preparation for the 2025 IIHF World Championship, some changes have been made to the Swiss national team. Besides Attilio Biasca, who had to leave prematurely due to injury, netminder Ludovic Waeber, defensemen Iñaki Baragano, Tobias Geisser, and Ludvig Johnson, as well as forwards Marco Miranda, Axel Simic, and Jonas Taibel, were all cut from the roster.
In their stead, netminder Sandro Aeschlimann, defenders Sven Jung, Michael Fora, and Dominic Egli, as well as forwards Christoph Bertschy, Sandro Schmid, Samuel Walser, Simon Knak, and Andres Ambühl. If the latter makes it into the final selection, it would be his 20th Worlds participation.
