Three members of the SCL Tigers are going to be part of the Finnish national team for the 2024 IIHF World Championship - Defensemen Vili Saarijärvi and Juuso Rikkola, as well as forward Saku Mäenalanen. While Mäenalanen and Rikkola have participated at the tournament before, it will be Saarijärvi's first time.
EHC Biel is represented on the Finnish roster as well, thanks to the presence of netminder Harri Säteri. It will not be his first Worlds-rodeo, the same goes for Mikko Lehtonen (ZSC Lions).
