First nominees for Hockey Awards announced

The Swiss Ice Hockey Night will take place on August 14. Various awards, including "Women of the Year", will be handed out.

SIHF announced the nominees for that particular category today. Sinja Leemann, Alina Müller, and Lara Stalder have a chance of winning the award. Leemann suited up for the ZSC Lions Frauen last season, recording 25 goals and 27 assists in 28 games.

Alina Müller started her season also with the Lions and then joined Boston to play her first season in the PWHL. In 24 regular-season games for them, she recorded five goals and eleven assists. Lara Stalder captained the EVZ team that will now play in the Women's League this season. The national team forward put up 63 goals and 66 assists in 17 games in the SWHL-B.
