Multiple returns for Fribourg-Gottéron

Patrik Nemeth, Henrik Borgström, Andrea Glauser, Sandro Schmid, Jamiro Reber, Anthony Richard, Samuel Walser, Nathan Marchon, and Alessio Guignard all missed the Dragons' last test match, which took place a week ago. However, except for Glauser, Schmid, Borgström, and Walser, they are all ready to play again.

According to La Liberté, Walser’s injury is not serious, which is why head coach Roger Rönnberg expects the forward to return to practice next Monday. Meanwhile, Schmid and Borgström skated with the team on Thursday but wore red “no-contact” jerseys. Borgström had sustained an upper-body injury during the Dragons’ first preseason game two weeks ago.

While Walser should be available for the Champions Hockey League opener this coming Thursday, the game might still come too soon for Schmid and Borgström. “We will see how things look with both of them next week. And if it is not this week, then it will be next week,” says Rönnberg.
