Winterthur's Michal Chmel off to Czechia

LHK Jestřábi Prostějov has announced the signing of Michal Chmel. The netminder joins them from EHC Winterthur, where he spent the previous season. A Czech native, it will be the first time Chmel plays for a Czech team outside of juniors.

Chmel has spent most of his career in Switzerland, being part of various organizations over the years since getting here in 2012.

His new club, Prostějov, is located in Eastern Czechia and plays in the country's second-highest league.
