Personal reasons are bringing Klas Dahlbeck back to Sweden. "Aftonbladet" reported last November that he would be leaving HC Davos and moving to the Malmö area. The logical next club for the defenseman, therefore, is the Malmö Redhawks. Today, the SHL representative announced a three-year deal for Dahlbeck.
It will be the Swede's first time back in his home country since 2012, when he left for North America. From there, he found his way to Davos via Russia.
Throughout the four seasons he spent in the National League, the 34-year-old made 244 games.
