Lugano's Einar Emanuelsson likely to return to Luleå

Einar Emanuelsson came to HC Lugano last November after having no proper spot on Luleå HF's roster anymore. Now that his loan period is over, he is likely heading back to fulfill his contract (until 2028) with the SHL team, as "NSD" (relayed by "hockeysvergie.se") writes. 

At least from the club's side, there are no plans to part ways with the forward, so the initiative to terminate his stay in Luleå would have to come from the 29-year-old.

In 26 games for Lugano this winter, Emanuelsson recorded seven goals and three assists.
