Sami Niku has one year left on his contract with Lausanne HC. However, according to the Swedish news outlet, Niku has agreed to join Linköping HC, and only the final details with Lausanne HC have to be worked out.
Supposedly, the National League team will let him go without a transfer fee, as they are looking to free up an import player spot. Niku joined LHC last season, recording eight goals and 16 assists in 50 regular-season games.
